A PCI-Express 16x slot is Generally used for Graphic Cards not for Capture Cards even though there are a few Cards that will Run in a PCI Express 1x slot which is Twice as Fast as a regular PCI slot but these Days Most Capture Cards use a Regular PCI Slot though more will be comeing out useing the PCI Express 1x/2x/3x/4x ect Slots in the Near Future .....

There are Some PCI-E 16X Graphics Cards that have Built in Video Capture Like the "ATI All In Wonder/VIVO" Cards.....

If you have a PCI-Express Motherboard in your PC you should also have a couple of Regular PCI Slots also on the Board....

    Cheers
