hey folsk i got the unit for xmas in 2004 at walmart got memorex dvd r + and drv rw+ blank disks i was recording from vcr using the dvd r ones when i recorded them they loked fine but when i wanted to watch them last week gave me a fail error then i tried the other blank memorex disks when trying to prepare they say fail disk too the dvd rws from memorex work ever once in while the last rw i got left says no disk after ejected couples time it come up then i went office depot got some of there dvd rwas disk to try came home put it in the machine it started perparing then said fail error again, i called compuster support had me to put in new firm ware thingie, now i am stuck what dve blanks disks work with this thing
••• Get some Verbatim™ discs, they have a really good record of compatability ••• Or you could try some ilo™ discs, WalMart™ carries them •••
