creative soundblaster 5.1

    I have Win XP sp2 with a soudblaster live 5.1 gamer edition card. I can not for the life of me get the mic to work. I have the latest driver pack installed why can I not use it. the mic is the one that came with the card.

    Have u configured the volume setting on the system?? or checked that the driver is working properly in device manager??
