    roxio will cause more problems, keep it away from your pc and instead provide a logfile for nero

    not a complete log but already i see problems moaning about media. things to check are burner's firmware level, media used, DMA settings, free memory and version of Nero

    @bloodguts -

    - that's old now. 3.1.0.14a is the latest version

    - that's also old now, 6.6.0.15 is the latest

    - that's old too, version BS0S is here - http://forum.rpc1.org/dl_firmware.php?download_id=1934

    - DMA needs to be ON for those drives. fix it via this - http://home.comcast.net/~bbmayo/FAQ.htm

    - try to free up more memory during burning, close down more programs

    - crap media alert - these are the worst most atrocious media out there. get better media

    - burner doesn't like that media

    - i think this a symptom of the other problems

    - maybe try 4x

    yay that's good news.

    as for the Teac, like any burner that all depends exactly which one it is....
