I have a friend who owns a copy of Nero 6 OEM. He has another program to do video editing etc. but no options to burn DVDs. His final edited product consists of a bunch of .avi files.

Is it the easiest possible way to author (i.e. Burn) a Video dvd (i.e. something that will play in any consumer DVD player) using Nero 6 OEM edition starting with .avi files ?

Thanks for your help in advance.

Convert them with NeroVision Express to VOB files. Then Join then with Nero Recode. Burn the resulting file to Video-DVD using Nero Burning Rom.

Is Nerovision Express, Nero Recode and Nero Burning Rom all part of Nero OEM.

Recode is included in OEM Suite 3, but not Suites 1 & 2...

Hmmm. The only thing I know is that he has Nero OEM 6. You only mention 1, 2 and 3. How does your numbering relate to OEM 6 ?

The Suites are different OEM packages for the 6th Edition.
