burning copy protected dvds

    i have got some dvds from a rental store and wish to copy them, but as you would expect they have copy protection and nero (6.0 express) wont burn them. does anyone know where to get a patch that will let me copy them, or know of any free software that will copy them, thnx

    However, if you have DVD's that you OWN, and wish to make back-up copies, DVD43FREE or AnyDVD will remove copy protections "on-the-fly." There are also DVDShrink, DVDDecrypter, and DVDFab that you can use to "rip" the DVD to your HD and then burn from there. Check out this wonderful guide:
