List of Battlefield 2 supported video cards

    Battlefield 2 only supports the following video cards:
    (minimum 128MB)

    Radeon X700 (PCIe)
    Radeon X600 (PCIe)
    GeForce 6600 (PCIe)
    GeForce PCX 5900 (PCIe)
    GeForce 5800 Series (AGP)
    ATI Radeon X800 XT Platinum Edition
    ATI Radeon X800 PRO
    ATI Radeon 9800 Series
    ATI Radeon 9600 Series
    ATI Radeon 9550 (RV350LX)
    ATI Radeon 9500 / 9700 Series
    ATI Radeon 8500 Series
    ATI Radeon X300 Series
    NVidia GeForce 6800 Ultra
    NVidia GeForce 6800 GT
    NVidia GeForce 6800
    NVidia GeForce FX 5950 Series
    NVidia GeForce FX 5900 Series
    NVidia GeForce FX 5700 Series

    All others will not work!

    Nvidia GForce 6600GT AGP works just fine.

    the readme file is wrong is suppotes alot of cards that arnt on there

    that list is BS mines not listed so its an outdated list

    ATI-Radeon-X850 XT Platinum

    this is a BAD ASS card guys

    lol..yeah seriously im getting a 90 dollar card and i think thats expensive.. i think they are like using all of their paychecks to get it or somthing..its crazy..

    runs 600 bucks but to me worth every cent

    can someone recommend a video card under $100 that i can play well enough Battlefield 2 and other newer related games, but mainly battlefield. thanks!! i am checking around at newegg, but too many options.

    Yup thats an excellent deal, that card is better than the $93 one that I linked you too, but its more expensive too. Its a good card, definitely get $145 one if you got enough money.

    but why arent the 9000 or the 9200 se supported by the game is there a way to get around the supported crap with out buying a new card?

    Yeah there is, for the 9200, you make its speed 4X AGP instead of 8X AGP and something more i think, google it, search for something like "Battlefield 2+Radeon 9200"

    yea turning down the AGP to 4x does really work but crapy graphics and i have ati 9200 128mb

    i dont have enough display memory for battlefeild 2 the screen just goes blank then back to the desktop does anyone know how i cant get more? can i download somthing caus i dont wanna buy stuff

    what are the specs of your computer as in ram both for the motherboard & videocard, cpu, directx version, videocard & what are the specs for the game

    Will this work For BF:2 --

    AMD 64 3300+ @ 2.4 ghz
    1 Gig of Ram
    ATI Radeon 9250 256 mb PCI Card (not the greatest)

    I just need to be able to run it, thanks.

    Well, the 9200 works when you put it on 4X AGP, but I dont know about your PCI there bro. Hey you can always try it. Just download the Demo and see if it works or not.

    My computer won't run it. Anyone know why.

    What I have:

    pentium 4 processor (don't know what one)
    Old motherbored, this is a dell pc. Model # D0FVT31.
    Things I added:
    XTASY Radeon 9200 256 mb pci
    512 mb ddr memory

    Is it because of my dell stuff, that BF2 isnt working, or is the stuff I added still not good enough???
