I have a version 1.1 and a 12-volt fan and would like to know how to increase the fan speed. I'm unable to adjust it in the menu where it says the fan speed and would like to know how i can access that or change the fan speed some other way. I would also like to know what cpu temp. is o.k. Mine runs right now at anywhere from 58-89 degrees celcius. I heard that 70 is too high. What do I do?
58-89 celius is way to high just that you must mean farhient(cant spell it) if celius then you must be lucky your xbox doesnt always freeze or burn out
Cut the black wire and duct tape it to the metal part on the inside of the back of the Xbox for ground. Make sure the copper touches the metal.
ihave done all taht it is it is 115f just runing without game my fan is a upgrade it is 12vlt it has the smartxx v.2 chip i just dont know how what to do hellllllp! please thanks.
That is the only way to speed up the upgraded fan, otherwise put your original fan back to use the fan speed feature.
