Can anyone let me know how to turn an xvid into a dvd

    Hi all, i'd like to turn an xvid file into a video_ts file so i can burn it onto a dvd, does nayone now how to do this? Also i've noticed that in the past when i've burnt video_ts files they dont always work on all dvd players. is there something im not doing?

    use either 1 of 2 free app (i use them) avi2dvd or film machine, dam excellant

    also could be you chioce of media as to why not ver compatible?

    about the compatibility

    Some players can only play certain types of recordable media. Do you use + or - R? If you use +, then you can increase compatibility if you write the DVD with a DVD-ROM booktype. Something else you should know is that some players actually won't play DVDs unless they have both a VIDEO_TS folder and an AUDIO_TS folder.
