Does anyone know how to force host on Halo 2? I know you have to block a load of IP addresses. Say you're playing Double Team with a friend. If he blocked others' IPs, the only way he could connect to the game was through you, an allowed IP address. I can't figure out how to do it. Some help please?
Yo man, Im not not too sure on how to do it but what I do know is you need a mod chip and a card of some type. My mate on xbox live puts his card in the disk drive and jams the disk which lags out the game. It gives him control of matchmakeing and he booted out everyone so we wone every time. it was so cool. but for some reason unkown to me you need a mod chip. I wouldnt recomend it but try doing it anyway. Oh yea, it also makes you host.
HAHA! Wrong! ^^^ You do not need a modchip...nor do you need your xbox modded. He was getting host b/c his connection was awesome. He was putting the card in his drive to "pop" the disc, meaning to get the maps that are on the hdd. And then he used something on his computer (firewall) and blocked everyone's ip's on the other team.
