    Hi,
I can't find any reviews for the DVD Recorder by Pioneer DVR-220-S. Must be a new recorder. Does anybody own this and how does it perform? Looking at this one and a Sony RDR-GX300 with about a 100.00 price diffrence. Any help would be great.

    Thanks,

The DVR-220-S is actually last years model. There is a newer version out. I have the 420 which is the same as the 220 with the added HDD. The recorder is extremely good. It has great recording quality and a ton of features. I'm sure if you were to get one, you would be very happy with it.

    Hi,
Thanks for the info. I don't have a huge selection, being in a small town. Wal-mart has the Pioneer 220 and best buy has the Sony I am looking at. How long have you had your's? I have the Emerson EWR10D4 and it worked great for the first 7 months, now it is having all kinds of problems, so have to get another, but it is not going to be the Emerson. Again, thanks for the info.
