I have a dell inspiron 4000 with a Toshiba dvd-rom SD-R2002. The drive reads dvds perfectly but wont read any audio or data cd. It tells me to insert a disc although i have one in there. Due to this, I cannot even use my burner. Please, help me! I am broke and cannot afford a new one right now.
does it come up with any error numbers like 19 or 41. uninstall the rom drive in device manager than restart windows so it can load the driver
It does not come up with any error message. Usually it says "insert disc". I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling but it didnt help. Thanks for you reply.
