Cannot say enough times that this was the best money I ever spent, AnyDVD does work with everthing, except the old 321 Xcopy.

Arnie Bear, I had a Question, because I also bought AnyDVD....

If I click on the ICON KEY and i get "registration.....restart AnyDvd..." and click on the AnyDVD (not the key icon but the other one) or i reboot my compiter. And then after that i click on the key again, it will continue to give me the same message "registration, ... restar AnyDVD" Why does it continue to say that, even after i restarted my comput ect. ect.

P.S> WHen i get the message "restart AnyDVD" what exactly do they mean I do (just curious i was doing it right)
And will it show the same message everytime i click on the KeyIcon even after following the instructions cerrectly?

    Sorry and thk you

Click your desktop icon, not your key icon.
Restart anydvd means to close it and reopen it.
You only have to click on the key once.

    Thanks!!!

Also, If you have CloneDVD or anyone out here does, I had DownLoaded the Free Trial but purchased the KEY before my 21 day trial ended. I was able to Burn w/out any problems at first. But now I open the CloneDVD and select "Clone DVD" (to burn ) it goes to "Title Configuration" and asks me DVD Video Files: and i have NO idea what to put there :( So i exit that and go to the Desk Top Icon (CloneDVD) and righty click it and select "run" but then it says: This free version expired, purchased. But i DID buy it,i even have the KEY saved on my Desktop so why wont it let me open the file and burn, I used to be able to do it a few days ago.

And also, what excatly do i input under ther "Title Configuration" DVD Files:
    ???

    :( thk you

you want to click on the little circular button by the box and browse for the video_ts folder of the dvd you want to copy, highlight it but do not enter, and press o.k

Dvd shrink is not a burning program,it rips, and compresses, and then can interface with nero to automatically burn.
As far as clonecd goes, I dont have the program, this is a dvd forum and thats a cd program. You should be able to find some sort of onboard help guide to use clonecd.

You dont need a help link to anydvd, you just start it and let it run in the background,it makes all dvds appear un-encrypted(no copy protection)

i found that at cdfreaks its a good read for the slysoft keys or what ever...

    quote
    KEY will not "import"
Look guys, and in case no one has noticed, which apperantly alot of you haven't, SP2 included a new security feature thats stop's application or registry entries from being merged and alot of developers haven't update their readme's, it's no secret and a pretty easy fix, if your running service pack 2 you'll need to right click on the key you receive from slysoft or element 5 and then goto properties look at the bottom you'll see a button to "unblock" the file, this will remove the problem of getting the key to properly merge. Either by double clicking and mergeing or right click and merge.

If your running service pack 2 you will have to do this to rar, zip, reg, bat or any other file XP SP2 deems is a threat.

I follow the help from you all and finally was able to burn DVDs under CloneDVD. I would select VIDEO_ST ect ect.
I was able to do this fine just yesterday as a matter of fact. But today I am trying to burn a DVD and where it asks me for DVD video files: i select VIDEO_ST (same steps i used to burn yesterday w/out any problems.

but it repeately continues to say:

Unable to Read Video Files From: E:/VIDEO_TS

E:/VIDEO_TS/VIDEO_TS.IFO 2 unable to open file

The system cannot fine the file specified

Please be sure that all required files are available and try again

I was doing the same steps yesterday and was able to burn just fine. I seleceted that same VIDEO_ST file and now i am having problems.
Do you happen to knwo why?

    I need help, please!

    Thank you

    *cries*
