Hello, I've got problem with the "Illegal Disk" in Nero 6. My TEAC DVD-writer has latest firmware, I already burned some DVDs without problems. Now I use Verbatim media. I can burn on Verbatim CD-R ok but using Verbatim DVD-R gives me this error. I've studied this and thread and others and tried all the hints (including DMA reset) but with no success. Do you really think I just got bad Verbatim media packet? Hi there, Your Nero version is outdated, it doesn't recognise your drive properly. Latest v6 Nero is v6.6.0.18 or upgrade to v7.0.1.2 You do have the latest firmware on your drive, so I would try to upgrade Nero. Media quality seems to be ok ! These are Packet Writting drivers from Roxio, if you really don't use Direct CD, or whatever they call it now, [bold]get rid of it[/bold]. They will cause you more problems that pleasure !

However, the data on the disk seems to be ok, I copied the again on the disk and verified ok.
