(Sorry if this is posted twice, I got an error the first time.) My husband just got a used Xbox from his sister when she was moving (it was her ex boyfriends) She was not able to find the power cable, av cable or controller. We brought it home and I have a power cord that fits. When we turn it on the fans come on and the HD makes a quick noise, the status light blinks green and orange but the dvd tray will not open. I read on a post that the light is because of no av cable hooked up but shouldn't the dvd drive open? We were going to buy the controller and av but now wonder if we should since the store doesn't take returns. So I guess my question is - is not having the av and controller causing the tray not to open or is it probably something else? Thanks!
ask to borrow some from a store. you know like if u went to gamestop or somthing and just use the hookups from their sample xbox somtimes they are friendly to let you do that.
