in the past timer recording has been ok, but recently when i timer record i am getting coasters. i have tried live recording and it works but when i timer record i get coasters. help! what would make timer recording fail? also if i set 4 programmings, if one fails does it screw up the whole dvd? i am guessing that might be the case. there is enough space each time the only problem is one may fail. i have lost a week worth programming. HELP!
now it just sits at HELLO and will not respond to the remote. help. i do not have my receipt so don't know how walmart will handle the exchange, they can be very difficult sometimes.
If you are getting the HELLO freeze, press the power button for about 5 seconds and it will turn off. If it continues to do the HELLO freeze, it will need replaced. WM may allow you to exchange it without a receipt as long as you are getting the same recorder. If you get past the HELLO, make sure you have all the latest firmware updates for the recorder and apply them.
