tried to copy a dvd through nero which fails on 95%.
    obviously a dodgy disc.
where has the info i copied gone as my hard drive is showing 4gb more.(not enough space as it is).
tried to do disc again and it failed again.
but again more space used on hard drive.
so anyone know where it is and how to delete ( searched through nero etc etc.
    cheers in advance.

do a search for *.vob then you'll find the folder the files are in (presuming it's a movie)

In Nero Burning Rom, click on New Compilation, choose the DVD Copy option again, then click on the 'Image' tab. There you will see Image File Location. Also, underneath that is a tickbox that says 'Delete image file after disc copy' - that should solve your problem

    ok this is getting stranger.
went to location it says after going on image tab.
    no data there to delete.
also the tick box "to delete after copying" is ticked
is does delete the image after copying if it copies the whole image but not if it aborts.
anymore ideas appreciated but if not thanks anyway.

do a google search for treesize pro (free download). it's great for finding folders that are hogging space such as your problem
