hi all the last couple of films I have tried with divxtodvd go all the way upto to burning then it says burn failure I tried changing the speed but that did nothing any help would be appreciated.
divx to dvd is a good converter, but if you have something other than copyto dvd like nero try that. Whats the media you are using to burn onto?
hi yeah I tried Nero but 2 of the films I tried were in 2 cds format and every time it said they were too big to go on one normal dvd disk 4.7GB so I put them on DivXtoDVD and it merged the 2 cds onto 1 dvd.and the other film I tried on nero was only 4.1GB and it said that too was too big.I always use datawrite 8x4.7GB disks and never had a problem.its not the first time I have used divxtodvd but its the first time I have had a problem
maybe there is a difference as i am running recode and have no probs with using it as the burning agent after vso converts it to mpeg2
@ godshomie : how about starting your own thread rather than corrupting this one with such an off topic comment
thank god there's no more irrelevant halo 2 one liners, i even had a PM out of the blue about it. what's the world coming to.. ..and YAY it was worth it to see the wavy hand.. ...anyway..... @al54 - if you're using divxtodvd you've already converted the films to dvd format so can just use standard Nero Burning Rom, you don't need to use Nerovision at that point..
hey creaky i find that if you have converted 2 700meg files then nero recode is much better to use as the burning program as you can merge both of the files together
@andmerr Have you ever changed the AEC settings in Recode, I know how to do it but just have not tried. Mainly because I have never used regedit, since comp always works fine.
Hi there, If someone is using VSO DivxToDVD v1.99.13, they can burn their videos directly from DivxToDVD since it now has it's own burn engine. Being a ßeta Tester for VSO DivxToDVD v2.00 I yet had an issue with the burn engine. So yes, they can use Nero, CopyToDVD and now DivxToDVD v1.99.13 to burn their VIDEO_TS directory !
