Each time the same error: "Failed to open: c:\mijndocumenten\ttt_cd1_... (the filename I mean). I've downloaded nimo, nu use, deleted it, downloaded loads of other stuff, but it won't work.

Can anybody help me please? thx!!!

Did he tell you if it was divx or xvid. There is an xvid lord of the rings with 2 files. there is also a divx version of it and its 3 files with ac3 sound. You would need to get the xvid codec for the first one

    http://www.afterdawn.com/software/video_software/codecs_and_filters/xvid.cfm

You would need the divx ac3 codec for the 3 cd version but I'm not sure where you can get the divx ac3 codec. I got mine from kazaa and it works no prob!

    thx for the advice.
I got the xvid codec, and the film worked in mediaplayer, but it didn't play smooth (just as my other movies do in media player). But in Divx i still can't open it. Do you know the name of de ac3 codec? maybe i find it on winmx?
    thx winther

ah, ok, wait sec, it is de xvid, it exists out of 2 files (2cd's). So i have the codec for that one. Could it be a problem with the divx player version? thx

It could possibly be yes. However, i never recommend the divx player or windows media player for playing xvid. Try WinDVD. I find it works great!

I dont know the name of the divx ac3 codec because i got it off kazaa and it just said divx ac3 codec!
