I'm having what I consider an unusual problem. AFter I use my CD-Rom (Toshiba DVD-ROM SD-M1212) to play an audio cd (or copy some music) the drive refuses to close down after I'm done. In other words, if I try to take out the cd, the drive will keep opening up unless I wait several minutes between uses. A friend told me that there probably was some software conflicts. I have removed and reinstalled the driver for the cd-rom, and also all the applications that use it. (ADAPTEC CD, REal audio, etc.) I have a DELL Dimension Pentium III, 128 RAM. Can anyone help?
