Macrovision ????

    I am planning to buy a stand alone DVD recorder. I wonder that can a stand alone DVD recorder record a VHS tape that have Macro-Vision.

    The DVD recorder to be Lite-on 5005 or 5045.

    Most any LiteOn or LiteOn manufactured (ILO R04 and HD04)recorder can be hacked to disable Macrovision and enable you to record your VHS tapes.
