can you put video onto a cd-r i have a couple of shot films on my computer and i wanted to burn them but cant get a dvd burner so om stuck with cd-r's so can it be done and then can the movie be played on a dvd player
you will need to convert the file to mpeg1 which is svcd or vcd and then you will be able to burn it to disc via your cd burner. If the file length is greater than a 700meg disc then you need to split it so that it will fit onto 2 discs. Try converting with avi2dvd which supports mpeg1 and vcd and then burn with nero etc
i lost you when you said Try converting with avi2dvd which supports mpeg1 and VCD and then burn with Nero etc could u dumb it down for me
you load your file into the program and convert it to avi or mpeg1 by changing the properties. If you started with avi you could change it to mpeg1 which is vcd compatible. this is the program i mentioned earlier
Winux005 It's rather rude to post random stuff in someone else's thread. To test your sig simply send yourself a pm. Let's try something a little smaller too
ok back to the subject, when i wanted to make a Video disc on a CD-R i just made a Data-Disc on Nero Xpress and it player them on my DVD Player (this should work for you if you have a new dvd player
