MADDEN NFL 2006 Frm what I know longest running (14yrs) game to date. COnsistent with upgrades to gameplay and graphics. Not many games can be considered a classic while it's still in it's prime. That's like LeBron James going into the Hall of Fame next year. LOL!! EA GAMES OWNS THE GAMES
Those 2 games still limit you to only do a certain gameplay, although they're both good at that. But Grand Theft San Andreas has so much freedom and things you can do. Running, shooting, biking, driving, swimming, crimes, basketball, flying helicopters & airplanes, boat, arson, stealing cars, drugs, murder, sex, and the list goes on.. so much variety that keeps the game fresh and interesting.
I agree with doggybot. Halo is the best game ever. It was so well put together, it felt like you were in a movie when you played it.
When you say best "game" ever, I truly believe you have to categorize them. I love GTA. I didn't get into until the second release on the PS1 but it has evolved so much. There is nothing comparable when you start to throw games all together for example "Mercenaries" for example how could you compare that fully when it comes to "Outlaw Volleyball" or let's say the "Need For Speed" series. It's just a hard road to travel yet people go there all the time. I agree with every post so far in the forum but like I said I think comparisons should be done by category unless it's something that all games share that can be considered "EQUAL" like soundtracks. Don't shoot me...It's just what I think.
I think I just might shoot you... Halo and Halo 2 is much better than Madden 2006! It is not as good as Halo or Halo 2!
hitman contracts i love that game play it all the time, then i will put madden 2005 then halo 2(hate halo 1 just hated halo 1) then GTA VC

i belive the gta and halo(2) are a tie, because no matter what after a hard day of work you can come home plop down in your lazy boy, and blow peoples brains out weither it is some mafia men, just some out of the ordinnary Space people.
