k i have an xbox (and i live in canada so its NTSC) and i went on a trip to europe and i brought my NTSC xbox with me. I plugged it in and it fried the back plug socket. I got it replaced and it boots fine now but my xbox does not accept controller commands now. FYI my box is modded. Why is this. Could there be something wrong with controller port connections on the mobo. Cause i was not the one who changed the back plug socket.

Well I guess you wont be doing that again now will you? :p

If you only managed to kill your PSU then your One lucky Guy! About the only things that are 120V ~ 240V outa the Box are iPod's and Laptops. Alltough I think you can buy an autoswitching 120~240v PSU from http://www.llamma.com/xbox/parts.htm. For the next time! As well as the Controller Port 'Daughter Board' from them. Or any other Place on the Wilde, Wide Web...
