   When using nero 6 and doing a disk copy my burner takes an eternity to burn the disk. I think the problem lies with my rom as it is only reading at 1.2 on nero drive speed. It takes me 35 mins to burn disk to disk. Has anybody any ideas as this problem occured a month after i got my pc. I could previously burn disks in 13 mins. any help would be great.

   sounds like DMA settings - you can fix it via this - http://home.comcast.net/~bbmayo/FAQ.htm
   
   but it'd be best to havethe LAST section of your Nero log, it's in c:\program files\ahead\nero\nerohistory.log. However DO NOT post your serial number which usually begins with '1A21' or similar
