I got a laptop so I don't want to use the video capture card in my PC anymore. Anyone have any suggestions, I'd prefer the cable to be under $100.

The Canopus ADVC is what most people recommend and you don't need a capture card. It's an external capture device that transfers to your computer so a laptop can be easily used but the captured file is AVI so it will be large and then must be encoded if you want to make a DVD.

I just googled it, the price range was $200-$300. That's a little over for me, I'm looking for upto $100.
