need advise on dvd players

    hi, can anyone tell me which brand name dvd-rom drive is the best one and last the longest out there? Im currently using a Sony DVD drive and its performance is bad. It have problems trying to read a dvd disc when i try to make a copy of a dvd movie. Please give me some advise. Thanks

    For me not matterin either if its a Rom or a DVD Writer i would go with Pionner. I have had my pionner DVD Brner for about 8 months now and its the best with copying and it even beats my DVD Rom Drive. It is able to read more discs than the ROM Drive.

    So my Advice Pionier :)

    Plextor drives are the best out there
    Pioneer and Nec would be second but both are good

    +1 for plextor, btw my samsung and plextor have lasted 2+ years and still going.
