has anyone come out with a dvd burner that burns dual layers on both a DVD-R and DVD+R with light scribe?
I think HP is the only company that does lightscribe. I had the option to upgrade to a Lightscribe burner for $20 but did not. You have to buy special discs right? Well, I figured if I wanted to print on discs I might as well make it look professional and buy printable discs and an Epson R200. The printer is only $80, $100 tops. That costs less than Lightscribe in the long run and the quality is much better. Didn't mean to preach here
Hello.. Know BenQ Has A Version Of The lightscribe Drive,& I`m Using Firewire & +Rs You Can Go To The BenQ Homepage 7 Read Up On It If You Wish.
Yes I believe that HP are the only ones at the moment that do that kind of burner, the notebook I have just brought has one,the discs are a little exspensive and they are not in colour yet just prints in a greyscale.
LaCie, BenQ and HP all make LightScribe drives ... Alera Technologies also makes a DVD/CD Duplicator Publisher with LightScribe
