To make a long story short, I converted an .avi file, encoded it, and authored it so I could burn it to a DVD-R. I have a portable SD-P2500 Toshiba player and a Denon 2910 DVD home video player. When the DVD-R plays on the Toshiba it is fine. However, when I play the same DVD-R on the Denon the picture is jerky. Is this normal? Thanks in advance.

I start with Avi2DVD, then I use QuEnc by Nic 0.61 to encode. I then go to IfoEdit to its DVD Author. Finally, I use DVD Shrink to burn it. I am sure there is a shortcut for this laborious procedure. When playing the program on my home DVD the audio is fine but the picture is such that it looks as though a frame is missing and thus the jerking of the picture. Thanks for your assistance.
