I have a DVDrw IDE1008 I am new to this While trying to back up some folders using DVD-rw I recieved this message DVDRW Ide 1008 recorder function not implemented DVDRW-IDE 1008\H1 to DVDRW-IDE1008 could not perform start of Disc at once burn process failed. I have Winxp pro I download Admin rights program from Nero also figuring that may cause it what am I doing wrong Thanks in advance Chunfa
post LAST section of your Nero log, which is in c:\program files\ahead\nero\nerohistory.log, but DO NOT post your serial number which usually begins with '1A21' or similar
Hi creaky Thanks for the quick reply after sitting and thinking I took a shot at updating the firmware,hey what the worse that could happen (I have to get a new drive)the firmware series was 054 and the latest was 159 so I updated it rebooted and all is well it burnt its little heart. I check some of the file and Im good.
