hi guys, im new to the forum and have seen sum great past responses. I am using nero vision express 3, and when i try to burn 2, mpeg-4 clips both larger than 700 mb onto a dvd-r, everything goes fine until the actuall transcoding and burning process. I create the menus and everything, scale down the size so that they both fit onto the dvd, but when it has nearly finished transcoding the first video clip the progress stops, yet the application continues to run. i thought that it might have just been a fluke but it is persistent...please help me!
hi, pls post your Nerovision log, i think it's in c:\documents and settings\<username>\ahead\nero\nerovision.txt, can't remember exactly. try doing a searching in c:\ drive for anything called nerovision.txt
even after i click abort, the program does not respond...thusly i use Ctrl alt delete and end its process... here is the log file...hope it helps? im using staples brand 4.7 GB dvd-r , and drive speed is maximum...(i should prolly turn it down or sumthing?)
i might also add, that now im getting this error when i try to add files into nero vision express : The instruction at "0x006b6ce4" referenced memory at "0x014e3828". The memory could not be "read".
DO NOT use Staples brand or memorex brand, stick with Verbatim. Also do not write at more than 4x. Right now though, since all u have is the staples type, burn at 2x, and see if it works.
Also as i always tell people, use VSO DIVxtodvd to burn any file to dvd-files and then use burning rom to burn the files to dvd.
