what i want to do is get my video from my dvd on to my pc so i can edit and splice and make my own dvd.i am new to all of this stuff. i went out and spent a lot of money on a pc and programs that could handle it and a brand new sony handycam that burns on to a disc ( the 92 model). your going to have to dumb it down as far as you can go. i dont know what 90% of the acronyms mean on this site (ex. avi, mpeg, etc.). p.s. i even bought a capture card (ATI tv wonder pro) because i was told i needed it, but then i was told it would defeat the purpose of the camera. help me please!
