i renamed my xbox dash and now it wont work (error code 16). I was told to use Slaers 2.6 Auto Installer on it but i cant burn a good DVD for some reason. Can I just plug my xbox hdd into my pc and find the file and rename it? Please help, I've been without working xbox for about a month and I'm really scared that i'm screwed. So please help me!
i guess u xbox is modded or softmodded and yes just FTP into ur xbox from ur pc and rename the file to what it was before i dont even wanna know why u changed it lol

no you cant cause then you would have to unlock it and once this is done the process could be harder than earning 150$ and just geta new xbox

theres really no need for taking the hdd out and trust me its hard it can even fry ur pc if not dont just ruight and its timed when u take out the hdd trust me id just ask around how to fix it it seems if u can ftp or load the softmod save u can fix it easy just look around if you did a softmod load the mod from using the game and then hook the xbox to the pc by ftp and itl let u rename it and everything tell me what you used and what exactly did u rename and why so i can understand it more.
