    @linsk,

    Please "don't" double post, it is against the forum rule. Please be patience and someone will be here shortly to help you out. Creaky is one of the most experienced member here at AD.com - he's one of the expert on Nero, he'll be here to sort things out for you in due time. I guess since I'm here already, I'll just point out the things that I see alright.

    Your Nero is an outdated version, the latest one is 6.6.0.16

    I've already check the "rpc forum" and your dvd writer seems to be updated on its firmware so far.

    You really need to free more memory here, the more memory available the better the burning process is. Try to "disable" any unneccessary programs that's running by going to "ctrl+alt+delete" or "msconfig" and disable any unuse programs. NOTE: please be very careful of what you disable though.

    Looks like a top media to me, but I can't say it's fake or genuine Taiyo Yuden. What is the id on the inner hub though? Does it says something like "TG001159 or TG00XXXX (XXXX = numbers)" on inner hub when you flip the disc over?

    If by chance, can you at least try to back up/burn at 4X?

    @linsk - alkohol has the logfile sorted there, must admit it does look like a possible fake TYG02 issue here. If the discs are indeed genuine, i'm wondering if the Sony burner in a USB enclosure by any chance ? -
    - that usually suggests a USB enclosure...

    ps i've requested the other post be closed...
