Hi. I hope this is the right forum for this. Anyway, I jsut got a firewire cable and jsut began transfering video. Okay, What I'm looking to do is transfer my videos into DV (which i do with STOIK Capturer). But then I want to have my video down to 360x240 but in H.264. I had Nero Recode but it says the nero digital trial ran out. But I have CyberLink PowerEncoder but when you capture from DV camcorders with PowerEncoder I haven't found any way to resize it to the smaller size. What would be the best and quickest process to dot all of this? Sorry if this doesn't make sense :)

You can create a new profile to specify a reduced resolution.
    Edit >> Profile >> New >> Video >> Resolution

I've been looking at the PowerEncoder 1.0 trial download.
I't looks promising, but I'm finding it somewhat buggy.
I can transcode a DivX AVI file, but encode from DVD seizes up.
I hope they can get the bugs out.

QuickTime Pro 7, looks promising for H.264 encoding, but doesn't support conversion from DVD (VOB files).
