Basically they don't work together - I only just realised what the hell it was stopping my PC connecting to my box. I turned Zone Alarm off and it connected. Turn it on and it refuses? So a couple of questions. 1.Is this compatibility - so I have to put up with it. 2.Is there some setting in ZA that I have to alter. 3.Is there a setting in FlashFXP I need to alter. Did a Google and got one or two hits that hinted at a possible compatibility issue but nothing concrete and no fixes.
Every time I connect to my Xbox I need to turn off Zone Alarm. If you turned everything down to Low on Zone Alarm it may work, but after you got done doing that you would want to move them back up again to their original position. It is just easier disabling the firewall and then enabling it when your done.
Only started to do it with ZA6. And I only put that on as the old version of ZA I had refuses to work with SP2 - XP restarts when it kicks in. And I only put SP2 on to..........well best leave it there. It's all a freaking conspiracy I swear.
