Black and white only playback from Camera to TV??

    Hi ,
    I have a Sony ccd-TRV47E which is PAL camera [Video 8 XR]. I am in USA and I am trying to play back through an RCA TV.

    The film plays OK but is in Black and White. No color?

    I have altered the camera to Play back in NTSC 4.3 but still no luck !!!

    Any advice most welcome and appreciated

    I think your problem is that you have recorded in PAL and you're trying to play back on NTSC.
