Im trying to install Diablo 2 on my Xdsl and this is what happens: I go to Xterminal and type in wine /cdrom/install.exe with my diablo install cd in and mounted. It processes and says please insert Install cdrom. I keep pressing ok but nothing happens. it says: Setup was unable to read the following data file. Your Diablo II CD may not have been in the CDrom drive. setupdat\setup.vis Error 0x00000005: Access denied (D\D2\Tools\Diabin$f\source\Script.cpp.92) ((cant make out exactly what it says)) Installation Aborted So..how can i fix this problem? Or what did I do wrong if anyone has any solutions. Thanks.

Im trying to get help from a friend but, hes telling me to iso the disks and go forth installing it that way because linux cant read cd's or something but..I followed the tutorial at franks corner and cant figure out why it wont work that way. So, i pretty much have an idea as to what I need to do from my friend. If it wont work ill let you know. Also If you have any experience installing games in linux and have any info youd like to share, its very welcome. Thanks.
it's not linux that can't read cd's its your dvd rom drive, cuz most won't read any type of cd-r and some are lucky to read cd-rw real lucky. Degalle (For more info search Xbox DVD drives)
