dv to pc

    i have a jvc grd270u mini dv cam
    and i was wondering if its possible to import videos and capture live vid using a usb cable or do i need to get a firewire and a hub installed onto my pc? can a fire wire go into a usb hub or do i need to have a firewire hub?
    if so how much wud it all cost?

    Yep, you need Firewire and the connection can also be used for live video.
    Expect to spend between $15 and $30 for a Firewire card plus cable.
