Nero settings worked fine before i recently redid my harddrive, but when I was reinstalling everything I decided to upgrade my nero version, so I did.

Now here's the problem, I burned a DVD last night and it plays fine on my home dvd player but when I tried to test it on my computer, it didn't play unless I open the VIDEO_TS folder on the DVD and actually click on the file to play it instead of it just autoplaying (or asking me what program I want to play it with). I checked and my drive is on autoplay, I don't know if I have a different setting or not.

    Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

Since I have had 2 Nero installs go buggy due to Autoplay it's my opinion you are better off with it disabled. If you put in a CDRW with stuff on it while Nero is running you can find it takes 10 times longer from then on to burn stuff until you restore the registry. The Autoplay sees some stuff on the CD and tries to run it, thereby hosing Nero settings.

My advice is get TweakUI from www.microsoft.com and turn Autoplay off for every CD/DVD drive. Or make sure you have backup restore tools for
your Registry. :) I do both.
