IBM made the processor for all 3 systems so here is the funny part for all those that dont belive in CELL

OK HERE IS THE INTRISTING PART ::::

Mercury Computer Systems teams with IBM to build Cell processor-based systems
Multi-year agreement with IBM will put revolutionary Cell processor in computer systems for defense, life sciences, seismic, and industrial applications

Cell is not limited to game systems. IBM has announced a Cell-based "blade" leveraging the investment into the high-performance Cell architecture. Other future uses include HDTV sets, home servers, game servers, and supercomputers. Also, Cell is not limited to a single chip, but is a scalable system. The number of attached SPUs can be varied, to achieve different power/performance and price/performance points. Also, the Cell architecture was conceived as a modular, extendible system where multiple Cell subsystems each with an IBM 64-bit Power ArchitectureTM core and attached SPUs, can form a symmetric multiprocessor system

No use in arguing with 360 fanboys...whatever comes out of Bill Gates's mouth they worship. No one right now realizes the Cell's capabilities and it's future uses. I guess they'll have to wait and find out. Cell is truly revolutionary. Its gonna be used in like everything in the near future.

I might be mistaken but...wasn't the cpu in the machines in the terminator movies called a cell processor?? If a cell processor can run a terminator just imagine what it could do in a ps3!! :)

adamryer.Have u everheard of a thing called sci-fi.Cause the terminator movies are sci-fi(science fiction)ethysis in the FICTION part.Anyway u are still a little right.A CELL processor is a revoulotionary micro processor. And will soon be used in millatary networks. It's designed to be used in the most advanced cell networks. And advanced databases, servers.
