What game are you talking about? In halo 2, on your friends list, press left and that will bring up recent players, press left again and it should be the clan one. You can now set up your own clan. To join a clan you must be invited by a friend who is in a clan already. They would send you a message and you can either accept or decline. You do not pay to join a clan. : D You just pay for the xbox live service every year. A starter pack is like £40/$60 or something.
