nero compatibility with dvd+r disc

    o.k. i'm at the final step to burn my dvd in Nero...i get an error message stating that i have the wrong type of dvd...it says i should be using dvd-r/rw. and i have DVD+R. it says that i will have to change my compilation in order to use this type of disc..what should i do? thanks for help!!!

    post LAST section of your Nero log, which is in c:\program files\ahead\nero\nerohistory.log, but DO NOT post your serial number which usually begins with '1A21' or similar

    i just bought this computer ..brand new in january..lol

    and yes..this is my biggest concern.. i bought the dvd+r dvd's..was that wrong? and nero says it should work with either dvd-r/rw or dvd+r/rw.. did i waste my money?

    you still need BS0S from the link i provided earlier. basically your date could be dated around november 2004..

    just double-checked here - http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/214420, especially the first 2 steps from the reply dated "19. August 2005 @ 17:13".

    to fix the question mark in this line -
    - fix, via this - http://home.comcast.net/~bbmayo/FAQ.htm

    as to the discs, read the other link i supplied in this very reply as it has info on what some of this means and how to upgrade firmware/precautions when updating firmware.

    (firmware is what teached your burner about media/newer media/burn speeds, so it has to be kept up to date)
