I've had the matrix mod chip installed for about 2 years now and I did some modifications to my xbox...(Xbox media player, DVD2, not too much else.) My question is would I be able to switch my matrix chip with the Xecuter 2.6 CE modchip and have no compatibility problems...

...so that I could solder it and it will stay in place forever. The reason is because my matrix chip will not stay in place and I have to take apart the xbox and mess around with it and it gets pretty * annoying after a while.

You just need to solder a pinheader into the LPC points and then most chips will [IMG]
plug right in. You'll have to connect the "do" point wire to your new chip and flash a bios to it.Your new chip should come with everything you need(accept the bios).
