We purchased DVD copy software but we only have a CD burner. It won't copy on to DVD-R or a CD-RW. The software won't even recognize the DVD-R and when I put the CD-RW in, the computer makes noise like it's doing something, then it says to put in a 'valid DVD target disc'. What am I doing wrong? Please Help, jo

Yep, you need a dvd-rw drive. Check out newegg.com for the nec 3540 and benq 1620-if they got them in yet. Both quality burners for under $50 including fed-ex shipping.

No need to purchase software. A majority of those programs are free here at ad. Check out dvd shrink and dvd decrypter !
