My DVD rom/burner is on the fritz. It reads dvds fine, cds fine. But when the time comes to decrypt or shrink, i get messages. Ive decrypted tons of movies. Now when i try, it says

DVD Decrypter: I/O CHECK. Or something about sectors.

    DVD Shrink: Cyclyctic redundancy check!

    AnyDVD: Unable to read dvd.

It says the cables might be loose. Their fine. It says the disc may be scratched. ITS NEW! Ive updated the software. NOTHING!

Maybe the region coding changed. Can anyone tell me whats wrong. Please?

(its and external drive. ILO CD/DVD Burner/ROM)
