Hey everyone. I have read the threads, but could not find exactly what I am looking for. I was on the news last night, and I recorded it on my ilo DVDHD04. I want to bring it into my computer, perhaps edit it, and then put it on my website. I asked the reporter if it would be OK for me to do so, and she said no problem.....since the segment was about me she would allow me to use it, giving them credit as well. I use Final Cut Express as an editing program if that matters. (I really do not need to edit it, as I did the few splits to get rid of commercials etc on the ilo) The clip is about 5 minutes long. Thanks Yodazz
Use DVD Decrypter, use 'File Mode' to rip the disc to your hard drive. What I do at this point is use DVD Shrink in 'Reauthor Mode' to edit the file. Then, use DVD Decrypter in 'Iso Write Mode' to burn image to disc. http://www.dvd-guides.com/content/view/23/59/ http://home.comcast.net/~bbmayo/Setting Start.pdf All you have left to do is click on the 'backup' icon at the top, follow the prompts and DVD Shrink will open DVD Decrypter back up and burn the image to a DVD
You need a file format converter from DVD to AVI/MPEG/WMV/RM. I guess if you want it for a website, streaming WMV or RM would be best. Get shareware from here: http://www.download.com/3120-20_4-0.html?qt=dvd+to+avi&tg=dl-20
