Can I put multiple CD images on a single DVD in order to save physical space, but still have them be recognized as individual CDs by the computer? How would I do this?
Yes you can Just Put each Image in a seperate Folder and Burn all of the Seperate Folders to a DVD.... If you are Talking about VCD or SVCD Images then you have to use a totally Different method if you want to also play them on your DVD Player.....
Do multiple images in different folders. I use Alcohol 120% Trial Version, so when I try to burn, it asks for one and only one image file. I could put the images in a folder and burn them as a data file, but then I would need DaemonTools to run the images. Is there a way to do it so that the computer will recognize the DVD as several different CDs?
Just Make a Different Folder for each Image and then Put each Image in it"s Folder and then Burn all of the Folders to a DVD In Data Mode.... When you put the DVD in your Drive you will still have to Mount the Images to a Virtual-Drive before you will be able to access the Data in the Images but that is Simple enough to do.....
In Nero, what I do is insert the audio CD into the drive, select Disc Copy, then uncheck the box where it says 'Delete Image File after Copy'. Rename the file blahblahblah.nrg and remember the saved location! When you click burn, do not insert a CD blank. Just hit cancel when it prompts you for one. You should save the .nrg file to DVD. Then use Nero's ImageDrive to load the DVD and select the .nrg file from the DVD that you want to play. It will create a virtual drive just as if you inserted a CD into your burner. I can fit 6 audio CDs on one DVD which I always keep in one of my burners - just like having an audio CD changer. Remember nrg is Nero's proprietary image file format which means you'll need Nero in the future to use them. Also, you can just double-click the nrg file if you ever need to burn a copy of the audio CD.
hi if they are iso images just bung them on all togehter on the dvdr in nero compilation. then use any virtual drive to load them to use as cd's or whatever, off the dvd.
