I cant ftp my xbox at all Please help

Let me tell you what ive done. First, Static Ip is on. Then I cahnged my xbox ip to 192.168.101 Then I changed my defualt gateway on my xbox to 192.168.1.200 There im done with xbox. Now on my pc I cahnged my connection to 192.168.1.100 Then my subnet is the usual 255 etc and then my default gateway is 192.168.1.1 I connceted the xbox to my computer then restarted my computer and xbox. so then i open flashfxp. DO quick connect ip is 192.168.1.101 port is 21 username and password is xbox and then i click connect. It connects, but doesnt show any of my folders in there. Any help? Please help me i really want to get this to work.

are you using a router?

 

yes but my xbox is connected directly to my computer so would the router affect it? Tnaks for the help btw

 

so you have 2 network cards?

it would be easier to connect your Xbox to the router and in the Xbox network settings instead of selecting static IP select assigned by DHCP option and let the router make the network settings.

after you reboot the Xbox look at the new IP for it and place that into F;ashFXP and xbox for password and usser name and it should connect

 

ok how would i do that all i know is to hook it up to the computer so its new to me to hook it up to the router.

your computer is hooked to the router right? your modem is hooked to the router and the computer is hooked to the router?

 

hook the network cable from your xbox into a router port then go into the netwrok settings of your xbox and change from static to assign by DHCP then save the settings and restart your Xbox then find out what the new IP address is off your xbox and type that into FlashFXP and xbox as usser name and password and it should connect then,

 

I dont have asign by dhcp on my evox dashboard. So yea. Where would i find it anyway? Im looking under system settings.

this was a few days ago. He PMed me and we got it worked out I told him how to have DHCP assign the ip on his router and it worked.

 

O.k., then it was something else then cause he and I talked on messenger yesterday with another issue, THANKS, it's all good.

 

O No it wasnt another issue. The last guy i talked to was uniique and we got everything worked out and good. Thanks everyone

hey can you guys tell me how to do that i have all the maps and a soft moded xbox. i also have flash fxp. i just need to know how to sign the maps and transfer them all.
