hello everybody. A quick one for you guys. I just bought a new personal media player. the player only supports avi, and divx coded movies (like if i was to dl from limewire or sumthin). It doesn't even support mpeg. So what I want to do is rip my dvds to avi or divx so that my player can take it. Does Nero convert dvds to avi or divx or some similar format?..if not, i have dvd shrink, will nero convert the vob, or ifo files to avi or divx? If so, how? I have nero express 6 ultra edition.

also, if it doesnt at all, do any of you have any recommended programs that will do this for me and vice versa (dvd to avi and avi, mpeg to dvd)

For converting dvd to avi, mpeg etc., I use ImToo DVD Ripper. For the other way round, I use VSO DivxToDVD (free version). Both great programs.
